Remote — United States

Senior engineering, based in Bangkok, available remotely for United States.

Based in Bangkok, Thailand, available remotely for U.S.-based teams and startups hiring senior engineering help on applied-AI and e-commerce systems.

Bangkok runs 11-12 hours ahead of U.S. Eastern and 14-15 ahead of Pacific, so business hours don't overlap. I take calls in my early morning (U.S. Eastern evening) or late evening (U.S. Pacific morning), and everything else runs async with written handoffs.

What I bring to United States engagements

  • Production RAG pipelines and LLM agent integrations
  • Headless Shopify Plus commerce (Remix, Node.js, Rust)
  • Cloud-native architecture on AWS

Evidence

Universal Agent Gateway

multi-tenant SaaS connecting AI agents to storefront data layers

Beyond Theme System

multi-region Shopify theme system shipping to the U.S. market

A worked example

Universal Agent Gateway
The problem
AI agents can browse a storefront, but they cannot transact against it without a defined protocol. Every merchant integration ends up bespoke, and each one is another surface to authenticate, rate-limit and keep in sync.
What I built
I built a multi-tenant SaaS gateway that exposes Shopify merchants to AI agents through two open protocols, the Universal Commerce Protocol and the Model Context Protocol, with Neon Postgres behind it for tenant state. TypeScript throughout, deployed on Vercel.
Outcome
One integration surface instead of one per merchant. The gateway is live and the source is public, so the protocol handling and the multi-tenant model can be read rather than described.

Questions United States teams ask

Have you worked with U.S. clients before?

Not yet. Every role on my CV has been with a Bangkok-based employer, so I have no U.S. client list to point at. What I can show is the work itself: production systems with public URLs and open repositories, listed on this page and on the home page. I would rather you judge those than take a claim about local presence on trust.

How do you handle a 12-hour time difference?

By not pretending it away. There is no shared business day between Bangkok and any U.S. time zone, so the work is async by default: written handoffs at the end of my day, decisions captured in writing rather than in a call. I hold a standing slot in my early morning, which is early evening U.S. Eastern, for anything that genuinely needs a live conversation.

What kind of AI work have you actually shipped?

Production integrations rather than demos: the Universal Agent Gateway connecting AI agents to Shopify data, GPT-3 and GPT-3.5 chat applications in Python at Adaptivity, and AI-driven SEO tooling at Relevant Audience. I am also MongoDB-certified in building RAG applications.
